Fall From Ruin #2

$0.00

Introducing “Fall From Ruin” #2. A modern and contemporary style. Striking and complex there is always something more to discover in this piece. Emphasizing the trials of life, the chaos and pain, sometimes by our own hand and sometimes thrust upon us. Through fire and heat the purified gold rises to the top. However, even the gold doesn’t survive without the scars to show for it’s battles. These blisters, although possibly healed, remind us of progress and the price we’ve paid for that progress. On top of it all are the clear drops and splashes that are the sweat and tears shed during the refining process.

This is a bold piece and in certain places the color shifts depending on your viewing angle. I’ve tried hard to show the color shift in the photos but it’s very difficult to see online. Caution: you can get caught up starring at this for hours and not even realize it.
