With a more traditional feel, the more you look-the more you see aspect comes through with differing textures and colors for the base and under-paint while semi-transparent acrylic epoxies mix and blend in unique ways on top creating the affect that tilting and/or moving your viewpoint lets you see differing patterns and shapes. The Fall From Ruin images are printed on metallic paper allowing them to pop and giving a vibrancy to the Fall colors that really catches the eye. The images are also coated with an invisible and protective coating that helps with scratch resistance and excellent UV protection without the need for a glass or plexiglass-glass covering reducing glare to near zero. Using foam. wood, drywall mud, acrylic paint, acrylic epoxy and metallic prints this piece focuses the the rebirth and growth of our journey with the images front and center amid the chaos and pain life can bring.

  • “Fall From Ruin” #1 is 64 7/8”  wide, 25 1/4” tall and 3 1/2” deep (the base is 2 inches deep by itself).

  • The images are printed on metallic paper and are 8 X 12” for the left and right images and  the middle image is 12 X 18”.

  • The acrylic paints and epoxy are bronze, copper, gold, golden labradorite, silver and flat black.

  • The images and frames “float” off the background.
